and then... the Haikuthon begins.
2. I seem to be keen on starting with two-liners, capturing one or two images.
5. Enjoying working for the US Census- very nice (but busy) people and many many houses for sale.
5A. I know tomorrow's going to be manic- cheating a bit and adding an extra one today just in case.
6. tag team battle.
7. Yes, it's Spring in Colorado.
7A. Wrote this one for a
contest "Blossoms and Brambles". Decided it should live here, too.
8. Must be finals week.
9. I like this one- strong possible meanings.
(I put my wedding band in for repairs.)
12. And snow again.
15. No internet today. I did write, so here it is a day late.
16. My mother has a strong heart. The doctors at last are
starting to agree that her murmur is not as threatening
as they feared. I'm watching carefully as my heart makes the same worrisome sounds.
17. Working for the census means lots of on-the-spot paper shuffling while the person waits patiently for you to get your act together. This results in lots of paper cuts, which mess up the forms.
18. Protective mommy! Very happy with the new foal arrived safely in the world.
19. The first paver of spring, so inspiring.
20. Romantic?
21. TIRED.
23. In the sun they are different colors.
24. TIRED. Driving to see Sirah and the foal every day, staying up late with guests, baking for a party and trying to finish work this week is too much.
26. TIRED. The last week is always tough. And this is my second haikuthon month in a row! If I decide to write thank-yous, would someone please have me taken away to some quiet place for recovery of my sanity?
27. I've hurt my leg. Wah.
29. Making milk for a 100-pound foal has serious caloric cost. More hay, more supplements and many more carrots are required!
31! Huzzah! All done. Ooh, nice reference to day One.
How did I manage that?
Now, time to read everyone else's!
